Taylor Tomlinson

Taylor Tomlinson at Des Moines Civic Center

Ever notice how the hardest conversations to have are the ones you keep having with yourself? Taylor Tomlinson does. Her stand-up combines self-awareness and vulnerability while drawing on family, faith, relationships and mental health, the topics most of us think about constantly but discuss carefully. Saturday, April 24, 2027, at 7:00 PM, Des Moines Civic Center hosts her Nobody Asked You To Do That tour, an evening built around the thoughts that keep you up at night and the humor that makes them bearable.

Tomlinson's comedy doesn't offer easy answers or tidy resolutions. It offers recognition. If you've questioned your choices, navigated complicated family dynamics, or tried to reconcile who you were raised to be with who you're becoming, those subjects may give you a personal point of connection. She finds the absurdity in our most serious internal debates and gives us permission to laugh at the contradictions we carry.

Bring the friend who overanalyzes everything. Invite someone who appreciates candid comedy about complicated subjects. Or come alone and spend an evening with comedy that trusts your intelligence and doesn't pretend life is simpler than it is. Explore tickets for Taylor Tomlinson at Des Moines Civic Center.
