Richrath Project Reo - The Music of REO Speedwagon

Richrath Project Reo - The Music of REO Speedwagon at The Ingersoll

Gary Richrath gave REO Speedwagon its teeth. Before the band became synonymous with power ballads, Richrath's guitar work defined their early sound: raw, driving, unapologetically rock. The Richrath Project REO brings that era back to life, led by Michael Jahnz, who toured with Richrath for more than a decade. That history gives Jahnz a direct connection to the musician whose legacy the project celebrates. Hearing this band at The Ingersoll in Des Moines on Friday, March 12, 2027, at 7:30 PM offers a tribute with that shared history behind it.

This isn't the current REO Speedwagon touring lineup. The Richrath Project REO celebrates Gary Richrath's legacy with familiar material and deeper cuts that fans of the band's first decade will recognize immediately. If you grew up with that sound, this is your chance to hear it performed by people who understand what made it matter.

Bring someone who remembers when REO Speedwagon was a rock band first. Let yourself spend a Friday night with the music that soundtracked your younger years, played by musicians who carry Richrath's influence forward. Explore tickets for the Richrath Project REO at The Ingersoll.
