Larry Fleet

Larry Fleet at Hoyt Sherman Place Theater

Some weeks you need to step away from the routine and remember what matters. Larry Fleet writes songs informed by faith, family and working life, the kind of material that doesn't need translation if you've lived through long days and short paychecks. Friday, November 13, 2026, at 7:30 PM, Hoyt Sherman Place Theater in Des Moines becomes the setting for an evening built around songwriting that feels lived-in rather than manufactured for radio.

Relatable writing runs through Fleet’s recorded work, including the album Another Year Older. His music carries the perspective of someone who understands hard work, family obligations and the small moments that define a full life. Hearing that kind of storytelling performed live means you're not just listening—you're recognizing pieces of your own experience in someone else's words.

Country music works when it tells the truth without apology. Fleet delivers that honesty without pretense. If you appreciate songwriting that respects the life you've built and the values you've held onto, this is your Friday night.

Call up someone who understands what it means to work for what you have. Make the plan, show up together, and let the evening remind you why music that tells your story still matters. Explore tickets for Larry Fleet at Hoyt Sherman Place.
