Cigarettes @ Sunset at Wooly's

Saturday night doesn't require another playlist. Cigarettes @ Sunset brings Appalachian folk, indie rock and what the five-piece from Boone, North Carolina calls Possum Rock to Wooly's in Des Moines on Saturday, April 24, 2027, at 7:30 PM. This is music built on fiddle lines, gritty guitar tones and lyrics rooted in the mountains, not the algorithm.

The band's sound refuses to stay in one lane. Americana storytelling meets rock edge, folk tradition meets modern restlessness. The Possum Rock name puts the band’s regional identity into its musical description, giving curious listeners a specific sound to explore.

This is the kind of Saturday that reminds you there's still music being made by people with something to say, with Appalachian roots at the center of its identity. Bring someone who appreciates music that sounds like it came from somewhere real. Explore tickets for Cigarettes @ Sunset at Wooly's and choose the night that doesn't sound like everything else.
