Blue October at Hoyt Sherman Place Theater
Blue October brings years of raw honesty and alternative rock intensity to Hoyt Sherman Place Theater on Friday, March 12, 2027, at 8:00 PM. This is the band that turned pain into anthems, and hearing those songs live hits differently than any recording ever could.
Justin Furstenfeld’s vocals and songwriting give listeners a recognizable voice to connect with. Recordings such as Hate Me and Into the Ocean offer a starting point for fans whose own memories are bound up with the band’s music. That connection is what makes live music matter.
Blue October doesn't do shallow. Its catalog includes Oh My My and I Hope You’re Happy, recordings that give listeners different ways into the band’s work. The San Marcos-based band has built a devoted following because Furstenfeld writes like he's got nothing left to hide, and that vulnerability becomes power on stage.
Who first put Blue October on your playlist? Invite them along. A shared history with the music is a good place to begin a night out, and you can bring your own reasons for listening. Check ticket options for Blue October and make Hoyt Sherman Place your Friday meeting place.
