Andy Grammer at Hoyt Sherman Place Theater
Andy Grammer writes songs that land somewhere between optimism and honesty. His music doesn't ignore hardship, but it refuses to let hardship have the final word. That sensibility runs through releases like Big Stupid Heart and The Friends & Family Sessions, material built on melody, sincerity and the belief that hope is worth singing about. If you've ever needed a song to help you reset your outlook, Grammer's catalog has probably supplied the soundtrack. Hearing Grammer perform live at Hoyt Sherman Place Theater in Des Moines on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 7:30 PM gives you the chance to encounter his work in a different setting: in a room full of people who need the same lift.
Live performance changes the equation. A recording delivers the song; a concert delivers the moment. For listeners who connect with his songwriting, sharing the outing can give a personal interest a social side. Tuesday night offers a chance to step away from the routine and spend an evening with music that reminds you why songs matter in the first place.
Bring someone who appreciates music that doesn't apologize for being hopeful. Give yourself a Tuesday that feels different from the rest. Explore tickets for Andy Grammer at Hoyt Sherman Place.
