Agriculture at xBk Live
Black metal doesn't have to live in the shadows. Agriculture, a Los Angeles quartet, uses crushing heaviness to explore joy, awe, love and the full spectrum of the human experience. If you've spent years with heavy music but want something beyond relentless darkness, this Thursday night at xBk Live offers a different emotional direction without softening the sound.
The phrase "ecstatic black metal" signals the band's intent: heavy music that channels intensity toward emotional range instead of a single mood. Agriculture's recorded work demonstrates that power and beauty can coexist, that heavy doesn't automatically mean bleak. Pure Hex and Aseethe support, adding two more acts to the bill.
Bring someone who loves heavy music but craves emotional depth. xBk Live in Des Moines hosts Agriculture on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM. Explore tickets and spend your Thursday night with music that refuses to choose between power and hope.
