Bluey's Big Play
Bluey's Big Play at Des Moines Civic Center
Bluey's Big Play brings puppets, an original story, and the kind of creative problem-solving your kids already love about the show straight to Des Moines Civic Center on Wednesday, April 21, 2027, at 6:00 PM. This isn't a screening of television episodes. Joe Brumm wrote a new story specifically for the stage, and Joff Bush composed the music. Bluey and Bingo are back, this time scheming to get Dad off his beanbag through games only they could dream up.
If your household quotes Bluey dialogue or debates which episode is the best, this is the night that turns screen time into shared time. Live theater gives kids something a television can't: the immediacy of watching performers bring beloved characters to life right in front of them. The puppet performance gives that new story a physical stage presence distinct from the animated episodes.
Ask a young Bluey fan how they think the sisters will persuade Dad to play, and make the outing something you can anticipate together. Find someone in your life who knows every episode by heart and make a plan to see what happens when the Heelers take the stage. Explore tickets for Bluey's Big Play at Des Moines Civic Center.
