Drake Bulldogs Women's Basketball vs. Southern Illinois Salukis at Drake Knapp Center

Sunday afternoon basketball gives you a reason to gather. Drake Bulldogs women's basketball takes on Southern Illinois at Knapp Center in Des Moines on Sunday, December 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM, and the appeal isn't complicated: you get to watch two teams compete while the outcome is still uncertain. Bring someone who enjoys live sports, or come alone and sit among fans who care about the result as much as you do.

Watching basketball in person means reacting in real time. A defensive stop matters more when you are following the game in person. A scoring run feels different when the crowd around you responds at the same moment. The energy shifts with every possession, and you're part of that shift instead of watching it through a screen.

Drake women's basketball plays its home games at Knapp Center, a venue built for basketball, volleyball, and the fans who show up to support those teams. This is the Sunday afternoon you spend cheering for your team, not the Sunday you spend wondering what you missed.

Explore tickets for Drake Bulldogs women's basketball and make December 20 the day you show up for your hometown team.
